When Tyrolean roots, urban spirit and creative freedom come together, the result is more than just an encounter – that’s exactly what we experienced in Berlin.
Together with Tyrolean designer Rebekka Ruetz, we showed that origin, attitude and contemporary values can also transcend borders. Rebekka deliberately chose our harry’s home Berlin-Moabit as a base for castings and fittings. In addition to spacious rooms with a view of Essen Park, her team primarily used our bright seminar room with roof terrace – a quiet, creative retreat in the middle of the city.
The rebekka ruétz label stands for avant-garde design, minimalist style and artistic elegance, combined with resource-conserving processes and high-quality materials. For her, sustainability meant using innovative fabrics such as organic cotton or coffee leather and critically scrutinizing the entire production process.
We at harry’s home also consistently focused on sustainability: all of our hotels were awarded the EU Ecolabel and a large part of our vehicle fleet was already running on electricity, which saved us over 20,000 kg of CO₂ per year. Our hotels in Austria and Germany covered 100% of their electricity requirements with renewable energy and were mostly within walking distance of train stations – for a convenient and environmentally friendly journey for our guests.
