General information
The General Terms and Conditions (GTCs) of harry’s home differ depending on the country. While the GTCs for Austria and Germany are listed directly below, different GTCs apply for Switzerland. Therefore, please note that different regulations and conditions apply depending on your location, which are described in detail in the respective GTCs. General Terms and Conditions (GTCs) for the locations in Austria and Germany
Valid for the following locations
Austria: Bischofshofen, Dornbirn, Hart bei Graz, Graz-Smart City, Lienz-East Tyrol, Linz-Urfahr, Salzburg, Steyr, Telfs-Innsbruck, Villach, and Vienna-Millennium Tower
Germany: Berlin-Moabit, Munich-Moosach
All prices are quoted in euros. The prices quoted are inclusive of all taxes and duties*, valid until further notice, unless otherwise specified. Any price changes due to taxes and duties shall be borne by the contractual partner. New government levies shall be added to the contract prices.
* For Harry’s Home in Graz, Linz, Dornbirn and Zurich there is a local tax/overnight stay tax/overnight stay tax per person and day, which is shown at the time of booking.
Reservations
We are happy to accept reservations in person or by phone. However, in the interest of both parties, a reservation should be confirmed in writing (letter, email). This guarantees that a room will be ready for you. If you will be arriving after 6:00 p.m., please let us know.
For group bookings of 10 rooms or 15 persons or more, special cancellation and payment conditions apply. For further information please contact our reception.
Guarantee / Payment
The booker guarantees/pays for the reservation via a link sent by our payment provider, in accordance with the PSD2 regulation, using two-factor authentication.
We cannot guarantee reservations without a deposit or credit card authorization. Without guarantee we reserve the right to resell the room in case of no-show until 18.00 o’clock.
For stays of 3 nights or more, we always require the guarantee/deposit via the payment link.
Additional people
Please note that if a room reservation is confirmed for one person, a surcharge will apply for any additional guests arriving with you.
Preferred Room
Please understand that we cannot guarantee specific room numbers or floors.
Shortening the Length of Stay
Free shortening of stays by 1 night is possible until 11:00 a.m. on the new checkout date; after that, 100% of the following night’s rate will be charged. Exceptions to this include special rates with advance payments and reservations without free cancellation, as well as rates during select trade show and conference periods, long-stay rates, and group reservations, which are charged at 100%.
If long-stay rates are shortened, the rate will be adjusted according to the length of the new stay (up to 6 nights daily rate, up to 30 nights weekly rate).
Cancellation Policy and No-Show
In the event of a cancellation, please always notify us in writing via email. Cancellations must be confirmed in writing by the hotel.
Rooms with daily rates (up to 4 rooms) – free of charge if canceled by 6:00 p.m. on the day before arrival
Rooms with daily rates (for 5 or more rooms or 7 or more nights) – Free cancellation up to 14 days before arrival
Rooms with a weekly rate (for stays of 7 or more consecutive nights) – free cancellation up to 7 days before arrival
Rooms with a monthly rate (for stays of 30 consecutive nights or more) – free of charge up to 14 days before arrival
Room with special price
- non-refundable, saver prices, % promotions
- cannot be canceled free of charge, cannot be rebooked, 100 % advance payment
These are our general guidelines, individual agreements can be found in the reservation confirmation.
Final Cleaning
For stays of 14 days or longer, a final cleaning is required upon departure:

Invoicing / assumption of costs
The billing address and the items to be covered must be provided at the time of reservation. The person who made the reservation is responsible for all services ordered. In the event of cancellation, a penalty fee will be charged to the customer.
Cleaning
If damage or soiling exceeding the normal level of wear and tear is discovered even after the guest’s departure, the hotel is entitled to subsequently bill the guest for the costs of repairs, replacement, or cleaning.
Smoking in the Room (Fire Alarm)
Please note that smoking is strictly prohibited in the rooms. The fire alarm is triggered by smoke, excessive steam or gas, or tampering with fire detectors and sprinklers. If these guidelines are not followed, we will have to charge for the fire department’s response as well as for a special cleaning service.
Third-Party Services
When passing on the cost of third-party services, we reserve the right to charge a 20% handling fee.
Liability
The hotel is liable only for damages caused by willful misconduct or gross negligence, whether contractual or non-contractual. The burden of proof regarding fault rests with the guest. The hotel’s liability for valuables brought in by hotel guests, such as pictures, cash, etc., is limited to the amount covered by the hotel’s liability insurance. Items for personal use that serve to satisfy various material and cultural needs are not considered valuables, even though they may be of high value (e.g., cameras, fur coats, etc.). The hotel is not responsible for replacing these items.
Items left behind by the contractual partner that exceed a value of € 10.00 will only be forwarded on request up to 14 days after the stay at the latest, at the risk and expense of the guest. Thereafter, the items will be handed over to the lost and found office or disposed of, provided they have a recognizable value.
Place of Jurisdiction
It is agreed that the court in Innsbruck with jurisdiction over the matter shall have jurisdiction. (for Harry’s Home Munich in Munich).
Guarantee / Payment
For the guarantee we ask you to provide your credit card details. We cannot guarantee reservations without credit card details. Without a guarantee, we reserve the right to resell the room in the event of a no-show by 6.00 pm. The total amount of the booked services will be charged 100% on arrival.

Rooms with a monthly rate (for stays of 30 consecutive nights or more) – free of charge up to 14 days before arrival

Non-refundable, economy fares, % promotions / cannot be canceled free of charge, 100% prepayment

Invoicing / assumption of costs
The assumption of costs must be agreed individually in each case and is only valid after written confirmation by the hotel.
If the company assumes the costs, the total amount must be paid to the company by bank transfer or payment link up to the day before departure. Otherwise the amount will be collected on site.
GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR THE HOTEL INDUSTRY 2006 (AGBH 2006) – version dated 15.11.2006. In the event of a deviation from the AGBH 2006, the provisions of these AGBH shall take precedence.
