General information

The General Terms and Conditions (GTCs) of harry’s home differ depending on the country. While the GTCs for Austria and Germany are listed directly below, different GTCs apply for Switzerland. Therefore, please note that different regulations and conditions apply depending on your location, which are described in detail in the respective GTCs. These specific GTCs for Switzerland can be found under the following link: General Terms and Conditions Switzerland (valid for the locations Bern-Ostermundigen, Zurich-Limmattal & Zurich-Wallisellen).

General Terms and Conditions (GTCs) for the locations in Austria and Germany

Valid for the locations

Austria: Bischofshofen, Dornbirn, Hart bei Graz, Graz-Smart City, Lienz-Osttirol, Linz-Urfahr, Salzburg, Steyr, Telfs-Innsbruck, Villach and Vienna-Millennium Tower
Germany: Berlin-Moabit, Munich-Moosach

All prices are quoted in euros. The prices quoted are inclusive of all taxes and duties*, valid until further notice, unless otherwise specified. Any price changes due to taxes and duties shall be borne by the contractual partner. New government levies shall be added to the contract prices.

* For Harry’s Home in Graz, Linz, Dornbirn and Zurich there is a local tax/overnight stay tax/overnight stay tax per person and day, which is shown at the time of booking.

Reservations
We are happy to accept verbal or telephone reservations. However, in the interest of both parties, a reservation should be confirmed in writing (letter, email). This gives you the guarantee that a room is ready for you. If you arrive later than 18.00, please let us know.

For group bookings of 10 rooms or 15 persons or more, special cancellation and payment conditions apply. For further information please contact our reception.

Guarantee / Payment
The booker guarantees/pays for the reservation via a link sent by our payment provider, in accordance with the PSD2 regulation with 2-factor authentication.

We cannot guarantee reservations without a deposit or credit card authorization. Without guarantee we reserve the right to resell the room in case of no-show until 18.00 o’clock.

For stays of 3 nights or more, we always require the guarantee/deposit via the payment link.

Additional persons
We ask for your understanding that in the case of a confirmed room booking for one person, a surcharge is payable for additional guests arriving.

Requested room
We ask for your understanding that we cannot guarantee certain room numbers or floors.

Shortening the stay
Free shortening of 1 night is possible free of charge until 11:00 a.m. on the day of the new departure date, after which the following night will be charged at 100%. Excluded from this are special rates with advance payments and bookings without free cancellation, as well as during selected trade fairs and congresses, long-stay rates and group bookings, which are charged at 100%.

If long-stay rates are shortened, the rate will be adjusted according to the length of the new stay (up to 6 nights daily rate, up to 30 nights weekly rate).

Cancellation conditions and no-show
In the event of cancellation, we ask you to always send this in writing by e-mail. Cancellations must be confirmed in writing by the hotel.

Room with daily rate (up to 4 rooms) – free of charge until 18:00 on the day before arrival
Room with daily rate (from 5 rooms or 7 nights) – free of charge up to 14 days before arrival
Room with weekly rate (from 7 consecutive nights) – free of charge up to 7 days before arrival
Room with monthly rate (from 30 consecutive nights) – free of charge up to 14 days before arrival

Room with special price

    non-refundable, saver prices, % promotions
    cannot be canceled free of charge, cannot be rebooked, 100 % advance payment

These are our general guidelines, individual agreements can be found in the reservation confirmation.

Final cleaning
From a stay of 14 days a final cleaning is necessary on departure:
Final cleaning depending on category from € 50.00

Invoicing / assumption of costs
The invoice address and the items for assumption of costs must be provided when the reservation is made. The booker is liable for all services ordered. A contractual penalty will be charged to the customer in the event of cancellation.

Cleaning
If soiling that exceeds the normal level of use is found even after the guest’s departure, the hotel is entitled to charge the guest for the repair costs, replacement costs or cleaning costs retrospectively.

Smoking in the room (fire alarm)
Please observe the strict smoking ban in the rooms. The fire alarm is triggered by smoke, excessive steam or gas development as well as by manipulation of the fire alarms and sprinklers. In the event of non-compliance, we will have to charge for the fire department call-out, as well as for special cleaning.

Third-party services
We reserve the right to charge a 20% handling fee for third-party services.

Liability
The hotel is only liable for intentional or grossly negligent contractual or non-contractual damage. The guest is responsible for proving fault. The hotel’s liability for valuables brought in by hotel guests, such as pictures, cash, etc., is limited to the hotel’s liability insurance sum. Valuables do not include items of personal use that serve to satisfy various material and cultural needs, although they may be of high value (e.g. cameras, fur coats, etc.). These items are not to be replaced by the hotel.

Items left behind by the contractual partner that exceed a value of € 10.00 will only be forwarded on request up to 14 days after the stay at the latest, at the risk and expense of the guest. Thereafter, the items will be handed over to the lost and found office or disposed of, provided they have a recognizable value.

Place of jurisdiction
It is agreed that the competent court in Innsbruck shall have jurisdiction. (for harry’s home Munich in Munich).

Guarantee / Payment

For the guarantee we ask you to provide your credit card details. We cannot guarantee reservations without credit card details. Without a guarantee, we reserve the right to resell the room in the event of a no-show by 6.00 pm. The total amount of the booked services will be charged 100% on arrival.

Room with daily rate (from 5 rooms or 7 nights) – free of charge until 5 days before arrival
Room with weekly rate (from 7 consecutive nights) – free of charge until 7 days before arrival
Room with monthly rate (from 30 consecutive nights) – free of charge until 14 days before arrival

Room with special price

non-refundable, economy rates, % promotions / cannot be canceled free of charge, 100 % prepayment

Invoicing / assumption of costs

The assumption of costs must be agreed individually in each case and is only valid after written confirmation by the hotel.

If the company assumes the costs, the total amount must be paid to the company by bank transfer or payment link up to the day before departure. Otherwise the amount will be collected on site.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR THE HOTEL INDUSTRY 2006 (AGBH 2006) – version dated 15.11.2006. In the event of a deviation from the AGBH 2006, the provisions of these AGBH shall take precedence.
