The brainchild and founder of harry’s home is Harald Ultsch from Innsbruck, Austria, whose family has been in the hotel business for five generations. The concept perfectly responds to today’s desire for individualization and enables a flexible living experience when traveling. True to the motto “Create your stay.”

Homemade breakfasts and a family atmosphere create a temporary home away from home. The functional environment, combined with a range of options to choose from, ensures maximum freedom – a stay tailored to your own needs.

harry’s home now comprises 16 hotels in Austria, Germany, and Switzerland, with a total of 1,551 rooms and over 3,102 beds.

Born hosts: the Ultsch family

The name Ultsch has been part of Innsbruck’s hotel history for five generations.

With the Hotel Schwarzer Adler, the family runs one of the city’s most traditional establishments, which has hosted many emperors and kings over its 500-year history and is known far beyond the city limits.

In 2013, the ADLERS Lifestyle Hotel opened its doors, attracting guests with its impressive views in the heart of Innsbruck. The panoramic windows and rooftop terrace draw the eye to the surrounding mountains and across the city’s rooftops. Alpine backdrop, urban feeling!

1988

Hotel Schwarzer Adler Innsbruck: The Schwarzer Adler is the traditional family home of the Ultsch family of hoteliers in Innsbruck. At the end of the 1980s, Sonja Sophie and Harald Ultsch took over the management of the hotel, and today the family business is run by their children Fabian and Valentina, the fourth and fifth generations of the family. Following extensive renovation in 2020, the hotel combines state-of-the-art comfort with the unique charm of its more than 500-year history. The 50 individually designed rooms and themed suites feature contemporary design, complemented by an exclusive spa area with Swarovski elements. In the stylish Pfiff Bar, a fine selection of seasonal cocktails and popular classics round off the experience.

ADLERS Lifestyle Hotel Innsbruck: With the ADLERS Lifestyle Hotel Innsbruck, the Ultsch family of hoteliers created a modern lifestyle counterpart to their traditional flagship hotel, the Schwarzer Adler, in 2013. Opened by Harald and Sonja Sophie Ultsch and now run by their son Fabian, the ADLERS stands for urban design, vision and contemporary hospitality. Located in one of Innsbruck’s tallest buildings, the hotel offers impressive panoramic views of the Tyrolean mountains from all 75 rooms and suites, as well as from the restaurant and bar.
